Secondary school teachers belonging to the ASTI are making it "loud and clear" that class sizes need to be made smaller.
In a survey of almost 2,500 teachers, almost half wanted a reduced workload and 63 per cent said they want to teach to smaller classes.
This was seen as the most important way to support work in the classroom following the Covid-19 pandemic.
