  Jacksonstone are working with a busy distribution company who require a warehouse assistant to join their team organising inventory and stock

   

  The role will involve:

  •Organising loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.

  • Receiving and processing orders

  • Keeping an accurate record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.

  • Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly and safely.

  • Picking orders from the storage space and bringing them for packing or to the loading bay for transportation.

  • Making sure items are packed in a safe manner and ready for delivery to customers.

  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

  • Be familiar with and follow all health and safety policies and requirements.

  • Have a good working knowledge of the company’s electronic systems (intakes and dispatch).

  • Due to the nature of the stock, accuracy in all electronic and paper-based documentation is essential.

  • Processing and completing Credit Returns.

  • Process Daily Transfers for Engineers and intercompany transfers on ERP system.

  • Process Daily Site to Site Transfers.

  • Arrange courier/service provider collections countrywide.

  • Operating a number of daily checks within the warehouse.

  • Operating a number of daily cycle counts within the warehouse.

   

  This is a 12 month contract 

  Working 37.5 hours per week

  Skills:
