Building group Lioncor has lodged plans for a 666 unit residential scheme
Plans for a 666 unit residential scheme have been lodged as part of an overall housing plan for the south Wicklow town.
The proposed 62 acre development is the second phase of a plan to build a further 750 homes along with sports facilities in the Kilbride area.
1,500 new homes are planned in total at a cost of €710m
Planning permission has already been secured for 84 units.
The news is being welcomed with relief that new housing appears to be on the horizon for the town.
