A church in South County Dublin is defying the lockdown guidelines and allowing local residents to attend daily mass.
According to the Mail newspaper, three priests held mass yesterday morning at the Church of the Guardian Angels in Blackrock, with 39 parishioners attending, while they exercised social distancing.
However it’s sparked a debate about restrictions applied to funeral services around the country, which in many cases are restricted to ten family members.
The report says last night the Dublin Archdiocese issued a strongly worded warning to all parishes, that any breach of the current rules is unacceptable.
