The government has denied it's trying to delay acting on a new bill about assisted suicide.
The Dáil debated the issue last night when considering the Dying With Dignity Bill.
It would legislate for assisted suicide in cases where someone already has a terminal illness.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee says the government does have some concerns about the legislation that need to be teased out through a committee:
