Glenealy GAA Club Gets Go Ahead For Major Development

An Bord Pleanala has granted Glenealy GAA club planning permission to develop new playing and training facilities.

Work on the project is expected to commence in 2019, which will include four new pitches, an all-weather training pitch and a running track is expected to take ten years to complete.

The 21-acre plot of land in Ballyfree was purchased for the development by the club from Kerry Foods in 2014.
