Gardaí have completed a search of open land in Co Wicklow as part of their investigation into the murder of Jo Jo Dullard. Ms Dullard went missing 29 years ago as she was on her way back to Kilkenny from Dublin on 9 November 1995. The 21-year-old was hitchhiking home to Kilkenny, and took a lift at Moone in Co Kildare, and has not been seen since. The missing persons investigation was upgraded to murder four years ago.
Last month, gardaí began searching lands near the Wicklow/Kildare border. The area of open ground was subject to excavation, technical and forensic examinations. A 55-year-old man was arrested last month in connection with Ms Dullard's disappearance but was later released without charge.
