Planning applications for maintenance and operational facilities at the proposed Arklow Wind Park are due to be lodged with Wicklow County Council by the spring.
SSE Renewables says it also plans to submit a consent application to An Bord Pleanala in respect of the off-shore element of the project.
This will follow the publication of a report on a public consultation process that took place last year.
The company says it aims to have a minimal impact on the local fishing industry during the construction phase.
